Today I saw what I think is one of the silliest commercials I've ever seen. In the commercial, some kids are laying around watching TV. The TV starts to suck the kids in, kinda like the tractor beam on Star Trek. Then, their father comes into the room and breaks the TV's hold on the kids by offering them Dunkin Donuts. What the hell is that teaching us? Don't sit around watching TV! Eat some donuts instead!
It kinda reminded me of those old Hostess donut commercials, where the family would sit down to a huge platter of donuts for breakfast.

TRUE STORY: My present boss got swindled by Dunkin Donuts. My boss developed Dunkin Donuts "present" way they make donuts and ship them to the selling locations. In otherwords, Dunkin Donuts are not made onsite as they have you believe. My boss developed a product that produces the donuts' yeast to get bigger using less ingredients and cutting cost and to remain it's freshness for 3 days to a week for delivery to the sites to be sold. It seems the Dunkin Donuts corporation renegotiated the contract claiming that his product did not deliver what they wanted EXACTLY and bought 50% less of his product. In otherwords, The product worked well enough that that they didn't need his product in all the Dunkin Donut selling locations, but rather only in the manufacturing locations. TRUE STORY kinda like the movie, "Flash of Genius"! He "highly recommends" Dunkin Donuts not to be at our office.
