Folks, one of my favorite shows is back. Ice Road Truckers! In case you didn't see it last year, there are a bunch of diamond mines up in northern Canada. The only way to efficiently get supplies to the mines is by truck. But, there is only about a two and a half month window to deliver the supplies because they actually have to drive the trucks across the frozen lakes. It's so great because you can actually hear the ice cracking and shifting under the trucks. And, there's always the danger of going through the ice. I love it!
So, if your looking for a summer show to tie you over until the fall season, check it out. It comes on the History Channel on Sundays at 9pm.
You know, I've often said that my next career is going to be a big rig driver. Not necessarily on the ice roads, though.

Dude...It sounds a bit redneck to me.
Wow. But a show about it? Double wow.
Those truckers are pretty competitive, too. Just the right formula for a good reality TV show.
