Haven dwellers, here it is. TATER MITTS.I saw the commercial last night and almost fell out of my chair with laughter. You have these gloves that have some abrasive material on the palm that you are supposed to be able to peal a potato with. Oh, and in only 8 seconds, by the way.
Now like I said, I gave a big "NO" on this one, but I was curious whether anyone had actually bought this product. So I Googled it. Turns out that it actually works. However, not in 8 seconds and only if you boil the potato first.
I guess the one good thing is that it's safer than using a knife.

How about trying a potatoe pealer? You can do it in about 5 seconds and you won't cut yourself on the knife??? :)
